
A Celebration of Dublin's Bicentennial
On Saturday, October 2, 2010, the Dublin Historical Society will be celebrating the Bicentennial of Dublin by hosting HERITAGE DAY, at the Coffman Homestead and Coffman Park located at 5300 Emerald Parkway, Dublin, Ohio, from noon to 6 PM.

This is a free event and eeryone can enjoy family activities, games and community life of the 1800's to early 1900's.

- Coffman House and barn tours by the Historical Society docents in
period costume
- The revived Cornet Band performances
- Recreation of one-room school classroom
- Buggy Rides
- Period dancing demonstrations
- Heritage farm equipment
- Crafts activities including corn husk doll making
- Blacksmith demonstration
- Talks by Johnny Appleseed impersonator
- Jim Thompson talking about local Indians, Leatherlips and Bill Moose
- Special Heritage Day postal cancellation stamp

- Three legged race
- Sack race
- Tug of war
